Our activities

Our activities as an organization are three-fold:

Annual conference

Each year, we hold an annual conference at a different location within the Rocky Mountain Region. It’s an opportunity to connect with old friends, meet new members, make new contacts, share experiences, enjoy local events and activities, learn from a variety of seminars, workshops, and experts, and get new ideas and inspiration. Workshops

We periodically offer separate and intense photo or writing workshops in conjunction with our annual conference. This means a different location every year, with both the challenges and opportunities that offers. Length of the workshops also varies – from one to three days.

Our annual contest showcases our talented membership. Each year the bar is raised in competition with hundreds of new and exciting writings, photos, videos and art produced by our many members. The awards for Best of Show and Member’s Choice are increasingly becoming the year’s most coveted awards. Each year, a “slide” show of all entered images is presented at the beginning of the annual conference, with a presentation of the winners shown at the banquet. Learn more.
